8.5 看完《面子》后再来看这部，就更能感受到它的好。虽然一部分是因为伟同和Simon设定就是相处五年的情侣，所以相比《面子》能更显著地感受到「爱」的存在，尤其是Simon。另外，结局同样能算是Happy Ending，《喜宴》的就并不突兀，是含着大量妥协后达成的微妙平衡，不是一个真正的「大团圆」，也因此就真实有力得多。
