前半场的故事节奏太舒服了，以至于后半场的「狂风暴雨」让人猝不及防。从Ellis Island开始的美国梦，在意大利结束，一种欧洲文明在自己主场被无法匹敌的强大所冲垮的感觉。前半部分的brutalist的建筑风格，后半部分的brutalist是资本主义，多次运用扶养视角来展现权力的不平等，肉体与精神上被强暴。三个主角贡献精彩演出。三个半小时并没有想象中的疲惫，虽然最后半场确实是像在欧洲田园开着甲壳虫兜风的瞬间被塞进了美式肌肉车里在赛道上狂飙。
