萨特的小说总让人觉得不得劲儿，狭小密闭黏腻的感觉，但戏剧倒是相当出彩，不知道是不是因为戏剧更适合这种幽闭的空间和促狭的时间，甚至对话量大起来，整体的感觉也变得非常利落，著名的Huis Clos（“他人即地狱”）以及La Putain Respectueuse（着眼于那个年代美国deep south的种族和性别问题）都是在这样的罅隙中完成的，Les Mains Sales时间跨度稍长，但处理却是惊艳，除了角色塑造和问题焦点的挖掘外，悬疑设置和戏剧冲突也是意外精彩，可以说读出了thriller的感觉，相比而言处女作Les Mouches就有些不如人意，明显有种对宏大背景难以驾驭的处女作感……
