Most humans do all they can to escape from being human, from feeling, being, freedom. They make themselves numb and momentarily gratified to escape loneliness and block out suffering. But whatever living thing we try to bury refuses to stay dead, and as we fight it, it fights back and sabotages of all our grand plans. It is us.

On a cultural scale, this is also why #Trump and his billionaire despots will ultimately fail. I have no idea how much will be left to build from, though. #art
