The world is drowning in plastic.
Experts say we need to stop making so much. But the plastics industry is peddling a "solution" that works like magic.
Don't be fooled.

@ProPublica Plastic Pollution is not like a hangover. Stop drinking and the hangover will end soon, then you are sober again. But Plastic Pollution (PP) stays for ever. "Reducing" future PP means, making more of it, just not so much more. But we are still getting more of it. "Reducing" here is a 1st derivation (in math).
So don´t "reduce" it, stop it completely! We are already drinking it with our beers!
@ProPublica
To end plastic pollution, we need to end fossil fuel use. petrochemicals are the source of most plastics. And most plastic raw materials and plastics, themselves, are produced by vertically integrated fossil fuel giants.
@ProPublica
I remember the world pre plastics. I was still buying food in large paper bags [ Free, my son wore a few with holes for head & arms cut in the bottom] in the 80s. I have stainless steel & glass/ceramic containers for storage [& a dishwasher]. Some things are better stored in paper bags.
I prefer to buy drinks in cans or waxed cardboard.
Plastic free is not only better for the planet, it will save you money.
