Start a very loud info campaign with your congressional and senate representatives to oppose any such legislation that harms people.
POTUS promised to lower cost of living for working Americans: this is no such a plan. Push for "minimum tax rate" for corporations and wealthy(ie 10-12%)

Of course, federal taxes have never paid for anything the federal government does.
That doesn’t happen with a nation that issues and spends and its own currency. The US dollars is an act of Congress. It was established in 1789 I think and every budget furnishes the money supply to the economy.. Federal taxes cull money out of the economy that’s all they’ve ever done.
And the only thing federal taxes Should do is cull it where it does harm or no good.
