@yoginho At this point it's a ritual that must be performed. Marvin Minsky was saying in the 1970s that in 5 years computers would be smarter than people (I'm paraphrasing from memory. Maybe he said ten; I'd have to dig it up). "Self-driving cars" have been five years in the future for a few decades. Etc.
