We had a bit of snow over the weekend (roughly a foot? on top of what was already down), and then two days of winds gusting as high as 25 mph (guess). The snow pack is blue-ish and topped with waves. It's reached the point where we'll need to use snow shoes to walk in it.

@abucci I'm planning on getting a decent weather station set up once we're settled again. I used to operate a CoCoRaHS station, which was fun. Would like to get back to that.

But who knows if that will continue to exist much longer, anyway.

@fm2279 Oh wow I wasn't aware of CoCoRaHS. Thanks for sharing that it looks interesting. Looks like they're sponsored by NOAA and NSF , but their sponsor list includes quite a few non-federal-government organizations and even companies. I wonder if they'll feel the pinch from....whatever we're to call what's happening in D.C.
