The track “Ayiko Ayiko”, by Art Blakey & The Afro-Drum Ensemble, and the album “The African Beat” (Blue Note, 1962) as a whole, is very important to me, as it is probably the origin of what I do today, e.g. on this site.
At least, I became a Jazz & African musics aficionado…
