This is a shocking example of the irrationality and manipulation of people by political ideologies. When someone like Stalin, who wiped out millions of human lives, is admired as "great". Stalin was an example of the destructiveness of an ideology when it is lived without human dignity and morality. A Mass-Murderer.
I do. He played an integral role in industrializing and modernizing Russia and led the Soviet Union to victory over the Nazis during World War II. There's also his contributions to the theoretical framework of Marxism-Leninism and his huge part in spreading the ideals of socialism and communism across the world.
The idea of Marx was to establish a dictatorship of the proletariat, a dictatorship of the proletarian class over the bourgeois class, and that's exactly what happened in Russia and China. It's not a "misuse of Marxism." That's something that would be said either by a revisionist who is intentionally misinterpreting Marx or someone who has no idea what Marx even said.
