The Felon in Chief about whether Russia could keep territories it occupied in the war it started:
"They took a lot of land, and they fought for that land and they lost a lot of soldiers."
You know who else did? Adolf Hitler. The Wehrmacht lost 5.5 million soldiers (most of them on the Eastern Front) but they didn't get to keep any of that "Lebensraum".
Crime must not pay. If you reward aggression with territory, you'll get more aggression. It's as simple as that.
