Threads takes another step forward today and allows you to follow fediverse accounts...with some major stipulations.
There's no search capability. Instead, you have to find a reply or like that a federated account created, view their profile, and follow from there.
So sure, you can follow fediverse accounts, but this greatly reduces the scope of discovery.
Curious if fediverse accounts can be included in their upcoming public lists feature (starter kits)?

Current steps:
Search for a threads.net account from your fediverse app.
Like it or reply to it.
Go back to Threads and find that post
Open up the "Fediverse Users Liked your Post" section
Find your account, open the profile, click Follow.
Other users are starting to provide direct links to their fediverse accounts and that seems to work, too. But you can't just search for `box464@mastodon.social` in threads.

regarding this last point, do you have this as well, or do you see fedi posts in your threads timeline?
@laurenshof I don’t see fedi posts from my timeline but kinda wondered if they would start after a follow was submitted.
@laurenshof Yep, that was it. After I initiated a follow on my account, now I can see the posts made after that follow was initiated.
