定义为爱情故事，是非常动人的。他们的爱情太理想主义了，男女主角因为爱情而慢慢变成了更好的人，看到那句“He had been able to get the better man”我原地爆炸。手法上非常妙的是，Darcy和Lizzy其实分别了相当久的时间，说是男女主角，男主角缺席的时间太长了，大篇幅写的都是Lizzy这边亲戚的各种事，但男主角仍然存在，他的变化从信中，从不同性格的亲戚中，间接体现。简奥斯汀塑造的人物就这本书有点存在感的都有二十来个了，但是丝毫不乱，每个人遇到什么事会有什么反应，非常有趣，不同的人写信都很不同。我对照看了两个译本，王科一和孙致礼的，每次Collins的来信（通常篇幅极长、长难句极多、修饰词极华丽），他俩都要用文言体特地加工得更晦涩更繁复，也是非常可爱了。
