近三小时的观影过程稍显沉闷，台词缺少导演一贯的聪明犀利，从6岁的男主仰望天空起到18岁眺望山间止，电影拍摄跨度12年中间衔接就难免疏离破碎，但12年里每个夏天的成长变迁必然易引起观众的情感认同，令人不禁自我代入感慨唏嘘。导演的尝试足以载入史册，相比还是更爱Before系列。
