yeah fedi has a ton of potential, and I think Website League provides a good framework for the direction this space should head in

mastodon has lost the competition on being a twitter-clone to bluesky, but theres no intrinsic reason why fedi should be a twitter-clone anyway. bluesky cant do private state, and people are gonna be very aware soon that they really want and need private content on social networks

Website League is a pretty good example on how you can build private networks and the value in them

my guess is that we'll see more experimentation in this direction. seeing more and more ppl in the atproto dev community also working on experimentations on creating private networks
