@mirabilos @rl_dane It's not the insistence on the _name_ itself I view as harmful, it's the underlying philosophy, and the closed-mindedness. It's the "you're a _bad person_ if you think this is acceptable" attitude.

That's the "white neoliberal with more time than sense" kind of attitude I alluded to before.

Not that I'm accusing anyone here of that. It just kinda whiffs of it in general.

But I can respect someone wanting the name to not have negative associations/connotations for noble reasons.
