For all platforms, there's a new experiment to show relevant snippets of information from Wikipedia for a hashtag to give you quick context.
I'll roll this out of experiments once I can solve for localization.
Separately, I've added custom shader logic to identify culturally relevant topics.
For each topic/hashtag, I've done research to identify the colors most likely associated with the movement or group.
Note, I'm nowhere an expert in all of these movements, and I appreciate any and all non hateful feedback.
The first depiction here is for #blackhistorymonth which is ongoing in the United States.
Some other topics and hashtags are shown highlighted below. (This list is by no means exhaustive).
Do also understand that these are likely to be very U.S. centric as I am a sole developer of this client living in the United States.
Why do this at all?
Because diversity should be celebrated, people should be empowered, and voices should be heard.
