@ProPublica News reports half the DOGE staff quit. Their claims are exaggerated or nonexistent. They don't have the authority to fire employees. They're reneging on promised pay for employees who accepted their delayed resignation. Their demands and threats to employees are illegal. But they're doing what Trump wants, create chaos and confusion. The damage they cause will take years to repair and rebuild, and will be expensive.
