"August" (stylized in all lowercase) is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, taken from her eighth studio album Folklore (2020). It was written and produced by Swift and Jack Antonoff. "August" is a dream pop ballad with lush guitars, strings, vocal reverberation, and key changes.
