the pancakes (a.k.a. Dejay) released her debut album les bonbons sont bons in early 2000, and the stylish singer-songwriter has since been a major presence on the Hong Kong indie music scene. In the last 10 years, a prestigious film award and a certain degree of international recognition have flown the pancakes' way. In addition to numerous albums and live gigs, she's also made a short film, published a book, contributed music to a bunch of TV commercials, and lent her voice to the McDull movies. So there's really no wonder the pancakes would christen her first best-of collection sometimes i just can't remember all the things we did together. In this "old and new songs compilation", Dejay selected 14 songs (such as fake bossa nova, automobile CM song tell me the truth before one of us dies) from past albums and also threw in 4 new tracks.
