sinopsis
“No Shade In The Shadow Of The Cross” is the lead single from Sufjan Stevens’ Carrie & Lowell, the album touted as his return to folk music. It’s definitely recognizable as Stevens in folk mode, yet it’s distinctly different from the Sufjan of 10-12 years ago: His voice sounds way deeper, and his attitude feels way darker.
