"flow" is a collection of original jazz/funk/groove music coming from shanghai, china. the red groove project is a multi-national band with members from china, the usa, australia, and brazil. the album features guitarist and bandleader lawrence ku (gtr), hu dan feng and toby mak (tpts), alec haavik (tnr sax), hu qing wen (tbn), sean higgins (keys), ej parker (bass), chris trzcinski and nicholas mcbride (drums), and leonardo susi (perc). the album's also got a few vocal tracks featuring shunza ("reason's treason" and "three doors, three keys") and tia ray ("yellow fever").
