After 2 years, Phoebe Bridgers makes her solo return with the lead single “Garden Song” for her upcoming sophomore album.
The song was first performed live on tour in Japan on February 2019.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on Feb 26th 2020, Bridgers states that the song is about “reoccurring nightmares I have on tour”. She also revealed that the deep voice you hear on the track is Jeroen Vrijhoef, her tour manager.
