City of Hysteria

Übersicht
These folks used to record as the Plastic People of The Universe during the 60's, 70's, and 80's. They were always considered outlaws because they were recording in Czechoslovakia under communist rule. Sometime before "The Velvet Revolution" occurred in 1989 (led by their bud Vaclav Havel, perhaps the only President of anywhere to have cool taste in music), they changed their name to Pulnoc ("Midnight" in English). All that said, this record is...ok. If you're way into the Nico-era Velvets, you may find something to enjoy here, but the record is over-produced and the band is no longer at the peak of their powers.
