Meet Me at the Edge of the World

Over the Rhine release their 15th studio album Meet Me at the Edge of the World on September 3 via their own Great Speckled Dog Records.
The 19-track, double album is the 15th studio offering from the husband-and-wife duo of Karin Bergquist and Linford Detweiler, following 2011’s terrific The Long Surrender.
The songs were all recorded live and were inspired by the couple’s move to a pre-Civil War farm in southern Ohio eight years ago.
The album was recorded in six days with Grammy-winning producer Joe Henry, who has previously worked with artists like Bonnie Raitt and Madonna. A press release for the album calls it the duo’s “most ambitious offering to date.”
