These are the recordings master pianist Friedrich Gulda made in 1970 and 1971 with the Wiener Philharmoniker under Horst Stein. Together they recorded all five of Beethoven's piano concertos for Decca. They are still considered to rank among the best ever made. They are also part of the recently released complete "Beethoven Editions" (85 and 100 CDs). But for those who are Gulda rather than Beethoven fans, here is their chance to purchase Gulda's acclaimed recordings on separately.
