In a world where internet music scenes and styles are predominantly cynical and overly ironic in nature, Kaizo Slumber’s music stands out as it embraces the idealism of '90s and early 2000s retro-futuristic aesthetics.
‘The Kaizo Manifesto’ revolves around hyper-futurism and environmentalism, and the perceived contradiction of those two concepts. All told through hard hitting ‘90s-rave hardcore inspired sounds with a modern sheen baking the plastic-y optimism of that era in electronic music into the sound of this album.
