The power of preserving
Revenge of a mortal hand

This world is my creation
yet I did not witness its birth
that crucial moment, you tiptoed
over, reached around and covered my eyes
Guess who
I whipped myself around
I would have my creations
each resume its place, or disparate
that I could hug you, and be hugged
But, who are you
and who are your tricky, adorable little
hands blindering right now, that other
creator’s eyes
