Lu Yanshi was born in a very rich family in Shanghai and he was a gifted scholar. After his father passed away, his stepmother used both soft and hard tactics to force him to marry her niece Feng Wanyu. Without the foundation of love, Lu Yanshi chose to study abroad quickly. After graduation and coming back to China, Lu started his embarrassing family life between his smart stepmother and his gentle yet persevering wife.
