Road Movie Photographs

This volume documents the activities of Salsa Gumtape, a band consisting of mentally handicapped musicians. The members met at a school for the mentally handicapped, and were invited to the 1998 Art Paralympics. They went on to release a highly anticipated CD, one song of which became the hit theme song to a Japanese television show. Photographer Takahashi is familiar to Japanese audiences for his commercial and fashion photography published in numerous magazines. His body of private work also includes several books and exhibitions.
