The Tunnel Ahead

简介
While driving on the highway, there is no privilege of autonomy.
Tom, his pregnant wife Jeannie, and their four children leave the New York metropolis to enjoy a day of leisuretime at the heavily crowded beach, far away from their regular stringent life shifts. After what passes for a pleasant afternoon, their compact car, which includes the standard dashboard tranquilizer drawer, takes the family back home to the city. Like all holiday-goers, it must pass back through the 8,500 foot-long Tunnel: the cleanest, most modern and least discriminatory form of population control.
