Come to Paddington Fair

The Washington Post calls Come to Paddington Fair “a masterpiece.” The death scene of a West End play goes horribly wrong in front of a matinee audience to which someone has invited a Scotland Yard inspector and his detective friend. But was the heroine shot by the stage gun fired by her jealous lover, or by the mystery man alone in a stage-side box? Apparently neither could have done it... Impossibility is piled on impossibility in the extraordinary plot which contains a new twist in every chapter.
