《池袋西口公园》是改编自石田衣良的同名推理小说由宫藤官九郎编剧、堤幸彦导演。
本片主要讲述了一群经常在池袋西口公园驻足的少年之间的故事。这群的少年是在池袋公园无所事事的太保，经常搭讪经过的高中女生，合拍的就一起去唱歌狂欢，看到不顺眼的人，就群起攻击。在警察和外人眼里，他们是十足的不良少年和社会渣滓。
