On the Go (2023)

Milagros (37) stretches out a carefree youth in her last years of fertility while Jonathan (24) seeks solace in Grindr to overcome abandonment issues. Milagros is looking for sperm. Jonathan needs to escape. A delirious road movie, entirely shot in 16mm, full of music, where a mysterious mermaid with a magic crown will set the course of the journey.
Director's Note:
Facing their maternal instinct, the directors decided to make a film instead of having children. This apparently free choice hides structural impossibilities for our generation. Our early 21st-century freedom is an illusion.
