Overview
At the arrival of the Italian army, General Kenzler does not want to surrender in Rome. The sharpshooters play the charge and the battery of cannons commanded by Major Luigi Pelloux opens a breach in the walls of Porta Pia. Pius IX orders the surrender to the general.
