A Trip to the Sun and Back (2025)

The kaleidoscope of events in the 90’s, showing the underside of the criminal world, is nothing but a background for this love story.
Ruslan is the protagonist of the series. First we see him at his 9 years, then in the period between 16–19 years. Ruslan’s childhood falls on the late 80’s, his father is a cardsharper and swindler. One day he takes his family to the wedding party of the son of his friend, a criminal boss. Ruslan falls in love with the bride at first sight and promises to find her, no matter how life turns out... The project is based on the novel “Wait for Summer and See What Happens”, which won the Andrei Bely Award in 2021.
