The Hybrid Union (2010)

The oil paintings by Serguei Kouchnerov come alive in Hybrid Union, a series of little animated comedies. The heroes, Plus and Minus, whose energy is running out, go on a quest to find a new source. Plus and Minus, come from opposite poles and when their predicament forces them to unite, they create a new, startling, energy form - The Hybrid Union. Our abstract but lovable characters travel with each other in the vividly imagined landscape. On their journey, they meet unusual new characters and novel challenges.
