新解釈・幕末伝
overblik
Set in Japan's late Edo period, this film presents a comedic reinterpretation of the era. It portrays historical figures such as Ryoma Sakamoto, Takamori Saigo, Oryo, and Izo Okada in a lighthearted manner. Drawing on director Yuichi Fukuda's signature comedic style, the story reimagines a turbulent historical period through vivid, character-focused storytelling. Despite its playful tone, the film offers a fresh perspective on a pivotal moment in Japanese history.
