An ambitious attempt to narrate Borges’s biography through objects and places. A 330-minute film which narrates not only the life of Borges but a century of literature and history...

At the request of his daughter, Turbo is reluctantly forced to open his doors for 30 days to his emotionally fragile and eccentric ex-wife, Loba, following a prolonged stay at a mental hospital. As old feelings reemerge, Turbo and Loba find themselves at the center of a perfect storm that could set them on an odyssey of rediscovery… or send them both back to the madhouse.

Nothing went as planned: what seemed to be an original idea (taking an international fashion event to a small town in the Argentine Pampas) ended up as a mysterious affair, with a mannequin who seems to have vanished, and who insists on leaving small clues scattered across the immense plains. But nothing seems to be too strange for Commissioner Sirota and her particular method which, this time, includes a clairvoyant, a legendary detective arriving from Santa Rosa and some picturesque “peritas” who choose to work at night, swinging to the rhythm of Ska. In the middle, a disturbing question: Is it a police case they are dealing with, or is someone taking them (the police, the whole town, the Italians – all of us, perhaps) for a fool?

An enormous effort of narrative complexity made up of six independent, successive stories, connected by the same four actresses living very different experiences in very different universes…

Mariano, 16, inexplicably and without warning, shoots himself twice and improbably survives. Then, life goes on. His brother pursues a romance with a girl working at a fast-food joint, his mother takes off on a trip with a stranger, and Mariano recruits a woman to join his medieval wind ensemble.

一个女人消失了，她的男朋友一直在找他。为此，他去了她工作的地方，以及很多数不清的地方。他能找到她吗?

With the strange disappearance of Laura, two colleagues, her older boyfriend, Rafael, and Ezequiel, learn of their recent discoveries, which may help them locate her. However, the story is bigger and stranger than they could imagine.

A woman vanishes. Two men take to the road in search of her: they both love her. Why did she leave? Each one of them has his own suspicions, and hides them from the other one who—mysteriously—never truly becomes his rival. Neither is right—but is anyone? This sudden runaway becomes the hidden core of a number of fictions that the film delicately weaves together: the secret of the heart of another woman, lost as well, many years ago; the secret of the life of a village in the countryside, governed by a supernatural incident that nobody seems to perceive; the secret of the plains, which never ceases to spread and devour everything, like the shadows that invade the world after the twilight hour.

Sol and Pedro have just finished school. Between their talks and walks, Sol practices piano –as she has since childhood– and Pedro shyly approaches writing. During those languid days when –perhaps for the very last time– there is not much to do other than hang out and think of the things to come, one gets the feeling that those passions that move them, sometimes in the dark, may start to become a path and a profession. In her first solo effort, Malena Solarz builds a small universe inhabited by characters that are at once unique and recognizable; she closely follows her protagonists and invites us to look into the small everyday gestures to discover how a possible future begins to take shape. Album for the Youth takes place at a very precise and unrepeatable moment in life: a suspended time, a parenthesis in which we can start to glimpse a new path and all that we’re capable of becoming appears at a distance.

When a young woman (Laura Paredes) wins a radio contest, her prize is four days in a hotel in Ostende, a seaside town by the Atlantic coast in the province of Buenos Aires. Only it's not high season, so the beach proves blustery, the hotel is pretty much empty and she doesn't have much to do while she waits for her boyfriend to join her. So she listens to the stories of a friendly local waiter and watches the comings and goings of an older man and the two women who appear to be with him. From El Pampero Cine, the company responsible for Mariano Llinás' Extraordinary Stories and Alejo Moguillansky's Castro (LFF 2009) comes a playful study of voyeurism and the power of storytelling inflected through a feminist sensibility. Laura Paredes gives an assured performance as the outsider whose imagination goes into overdrive when faced with the reality of the sleepy spa resort. Laura Citarella may have described Ostende as a very small feature, but the mischievous nods to Hitchcock and Rohmer and the film's marked focus on ways of seeing actually render this a visually arresting and highly individual debut.
