The subject of this historical drama is a splintering Berlin in the years of 1948 and 1949. Played against the backdrop of social upheaval, the characters in the drama come to epitomize the best and worst of each pole of the political sphere. A 17-year-old hoodlum by the name of Gladow works hand-in-glove with a local white-collar criminal to rob and pillage every day and night, defying capture. While he and his gang of thugs are terrorizing the people of Berlin, the Soviets are trying to make the blockade of their region of control impermeable. The future casts long shadows over the drama, as Berlin's problems take the shape of times to come.

Flucht in den Norden
other title: 逃向北方 / Flucht in den Norden
"Flucht in den Norden" is a somewhat lackluster drama set in Finland in 1934. Johanna is a young woman who has fled Nazi Germany to visit her old university friend Karin at her family's estate in Finland. Quickly, it becomes clear that the two are more than just friends, as they resume what can only be assumed as a recurring love affair.
Upon arriving at the friend's family estate, Johanna's anti-fascist views immediately clash with her friend's brother, who is pro-Nazi and the two argue passionately. A second brother proves to be her saving grace, as he shares her own political views. The two begin a heated affair, leaving Olin's character out in the proverbial cold.
The two travel north to an Arctic port where they engage in a debate over whether Johanna should stay with him, out of harm's way, or continue to Paris to join the resistance movement.

Preußen - Chronik eines deutschen Staates
other title: Preußen - Chronik eines deutschen Staates
1. Vom Kurfürstentum zum Königreich (1640–1713)
2. Vom Königreich zur Großmacht (1713–1786)
3. Von der Reformzeit zur Revolution (1718–1848)
4. Mit Blut und Eisen: Der Weg ins Deutsche Reich (1848–1871)
5. „Heil Dir im Siegeskranz“ – die Zeit des Wilhelminismus (1871–1918)
6. Republik, Nazi-Herrschaft und Untergang (1918–1947)
