Dimitris Thalassias is a single singing teacher at a senior high school in Athens and undertakes the care of a child abandoned by its mother at the door of the foundling hospital. He does everything required to raise it right, but he sees his life changing unexpectedly, since his fiancée leaves him, and his relations with his students go from bad to worse. While this is happening, the mother shows up to claim her child. In the end, everything is corrected, and a solution is provided through marriage.

With Greece about to join the EEC, the folks in a village are split: the right-wing president, Nomass, is an ardent supporter of accession, the left-wing secretary Leonidas is categorically opposed, and the socialist Michalis has some doubts. In addition to their common concerns, they are also preoccupied with the charms of the voluptuous and provocative widow Margarita. However, when they go down to Athens to sell their harvest and try to get decent prices for their oranges, they find that all the authorities are mocking them. The farmers find them sticks.

Two Italian cousins, Mariantela and Monica, come for holidays in Greece. At the airport, however, their luggage is confused with those of Alkis, a Catholic priest who carries a cross of remarkable value on behalf of a smugglers' coil. As the life of Alkis is directly at risk from the villains, if he does not find the valuable suitcase soon, he can only follow the Italians in Spetses.

Andreas, a blind shepherd, is the only man left in the village of Platanos, since all the others have left to seek work in Athens. The women of the village treat him as a sexual object, until a maid helps him regain his sight and escape the exploitation of the other women.

Stefanos, Giorgos, and Nondas are three young men who ended up in juvenile detention for stealing a bag containing three million euros. After a few years, they are released, full of the experiences they had during all those years locked up in prison. Their goal is to start a new life, avoiding all the mistakes and temptations of the past. Unfortunately for them, however...
