A journey through several countries to find those who really know Kim Jong-un, North Korea's leader, in an attempt to profile a contradictory dictator who seems to rule his nation with both disturbing benevolence and cold cruelty while being worshipped as a living god by his subjects in exalted displays of ridiculous fanaticism.

With a timeline that starts with the invention of photography in the 1800s and (so far) ends with Instagram, this fast-paced and award-winning film takes us on an entertaining surf across the last 150 years of visual culture. With an adventurous, philosophical spirit and visual vigor, the award-winning collage film ’And the King Said, What a Fantastic Machine’ moves like a cinematic spinning top through the history of moving images. From the first films and photos to today’s Hollywood, iPhones, Instagram and over 45 billion cameras worldwide. The directing duo take a critical and affectionate look at the contradictions of modern visual culture, including propaganda films about Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, behind-the-scenes footage of a group of ISIS fighters in Yemen, Russian youth performing breakneck stunts atop the world’s tallest buildings, and a camera masterclass with Leni Riefenstahl. An entertaining and thought-provoking film that will make you look with fresh eyes at the visual world we live in. 源自：

A journey through Kim Jong Un’s past and present to understand the man and the myth who holds North Korea’s uncertain future in his hands.

North Korean provocations on the one hand, Donald Trump's funambulism on the other: are we now on the brink of a nuclear war? The situation is actually much more complex than the headlines of the newspapers might suggest. For decades, Pyongyang has been playing the role of intimidation and maintaining a defensive stance on nuclear weapons. However, its intentions have not changed: the authorities have never stopped pursuing the program launched in 1962. However, the United States is losing influence in East Asia: weakened, they must fight to continue to protect Korea from South and Japan North Korean aggression. This development benefits China, whose patience and calm contrast with the sudden outbursts of its neighbors, and allow it to strengthen its position on the international scene. The Middle Kingdom, however, struggles to temper the aggression of the new American president, who seems ready to do anything to impress the rest of the world.
