1954 film by Julio Saraceni

While studying at a Catholic boarding school, the young Luisa meets a boy, Julio, who talks to her from the street and through the gate. However, the girl's arrogant older brother removes her from the establishment and takes her to live in her family house. The beginning of love between Luisa and Julio is made even more difficult by what seems to be the beginning of a disease in her.

The sometimes profound, sometimes slightly sordid tale of Elena, a famous concert pianist who, as a child, was sexually assaulted by a circus clown while the music of Manuel de Falla "Ritual Dance of Fire" could be heard from the circus tent. Since that time, Elena has gone into hysterics every time she hears that composition. Making matters worse, the lascivious clown is now her business manager.

This is the story of a suburb in Buenos Aires, its neighborhood, and how they live together in poverty, conjoined by the games of the children, and the love and support of the grown ups.

While playing a prank, a young boy accidentally discovers the identity of a criminal lurking in the neighborhood.
