Adora (Nini Jacinto) was given away by her mother as a child. Adora grew up with her aunt Lydia (Rita Magdalena), something that did not work out because her aunt used her as payment to the loans from Artemio, an old man who is their main business source.

Sindak is a movie about four guys, security guards by night, sex maniacs by day, and in weekends, regular dudes who like to shoot the shit with gin and pulutan (gleaned from their weekend monkey-hunting trips). Unbeknownst to them, they live in a world of sin and extraordinary inexplicable weirdness (inexplicable because the movie doesn't put any effort in explaining a lot of things), made apparent when a man they killed—whom they suspect of being a serial murderer—comes back to haunt them one by one. Once they start dying, they start seeing the infidelity, the incest, and the debauchery around them, and soon they disintegrate under the pressure of the seedy world around them.

A classic dramatic piece on poverty and prostitution is transformed into a poignant take on failed celluloid dreams. A son of a late actor notorious for womanizing in his heyday aspires to be a big star someday but can't get past beyond being a stuntman. His meager income hardly suffices to support his family driving the wife to resort to selling her body.

A priest visits a small seaside town. Miling a former nun who now teaches catechism on the island thinks that father Emman is the priest she sent for. She believes that a priest would help revive the townspeople's faith in God by putting up bars and girly joints.
