Where the Sun Always Shines follows Tom (Per Lasson) and Petra (Lisa Linnertorp), a successful couple who have built up a large Ica Maxi store in Linköping and sold it for a record sum. They have been living a life of luxury in Mallorca with their sons for a month, ready to enjoy an eternal vacation. But their lives take an unexpected turn during Tom's 50th birthday party, leading his brother Timmy (Erik “Jerka” Johansson) and his wife Maja (Rakel Wärmländer) to move their family to the sunny climes of Mallorca, where chaos ensues.

A couple on the brink of divorce attempts to hide their crisis at a grand wedding, but it turns out they are not the only ones with false appearances.

Five people embark on a motorhome road trip through Europe to fulfill an elderly man's last wish. "Day by Day" is a life-affirming comedy with a lot of humor and some seriousness. Friendships develop, love arises and life-changing decisions are made, a story that it is never too late to rethink in life.
