1998年，新海诚用一周的时间制作的30秒全3D短片，使用Lightwave3D与PhotoShop制作。灵感来自村上春树的《世界末日与冷酷仙镜》。
1998年の暮れに1周间ほどでつくったオール3DCGアニメーションです。无理矢理30秒に収めているため、なんだかわからないものになってしまいました。「どういう意味なの？」とか讯かないでください。
これをつくり始める直前にLightwave3Dを使った仕事が终了し、「ひととおり复习しておこうか」という目的もありました（でももう忘れた）。
