In the middle of the urban jungle, Darko, a young and handsome undocumented immigrant meets Alina, a mysterious woman who leads a steady life in Germany. Despite social and cultural differences, they share an immediate erotic connection. They start a passionate affair and very soon Darko finds himself absorbed in magnetic attraction.

Set in Berlin, Heile Gänsje is a youth portrait of Germany. With a fluid narrative that loosely follows a German teenager and his attraction to an aggressive friend, the film was produced by Channel 4 UK and Dazed & Confused, and directed by Matt Lambert. Burning through topics like sexuality, violence, friendship and family, Heile Gänsje sums up German youth culture through dreamy lighting and brash dialogue.
