The scene opens with Piro reclining on his bed in front of a mountain landscape. A beautiful setting, indeed, but it’s only a wallpaper panel. It’s not trying to fool anyone, just like when Guzman says he’s only going away for a year. Is he telling the truth or is he just saying it to convince himself? He’s almost finished packing. Only a couple of things are missing: a t-shirt and the courage to say goodbye.
