Wegen ihr vernachlässigt Baldur seinen zwielichtigen Beruf und verliert schließlich auch die Kontrolle über sein Leben - mit fatalen Folgen. Baldur stielt Schriftstellern ihre Ideen und verkauft diese. Eines Tages führt ihn sein zwielichtiger Job nach Hawaiian Gardens, eine Trabantenstadt im Großraum Los Angeles. Dort trifft er den 70-jährigen Shulzov, der bereits den Kultroman "Dog$hit" geschrieben hat. Shulzov soll Baldurs nächstes Opfer werden. Doch die junge Rosa zieht den Copyright-Piraten alsbald in ihren Bann. Dabei ahnt Baldur nicht, dass die Begegnung sein Leben für immer verändern wird.
