This film tells several short stories that end up lapsing in the emergency room of a hospital, because it is dedicated to nurses. Cantinflas appears at the end of the film playing the role of Luis, a man who has five daughters and looks forward to a boy, but fate plays a trick and the child dies at birth, but history gives a nice twist and a message of hope.

A man finds a woman that reminds him of his long lost love: his step-sister with whom he initiated his sex life. But he is married and his wife wants proof of the cheating to get a divorce.

Even amongst exploitation junkies "Ricco, the Mean Machine" doesn't get a lot of attention and that's a shame because it's a very sadistic, effective and all around excellent Italian Crime movie with lots of nudity. Ricco (Christopher Mitchum) is out to get his revenge on the crime lord that killed his father with the help of the very sexy Rosa (Melisa Longo). He takes each of Vito's (Arthur Kennedy) men down one by one, bringing him closer and closer to his prize.
What sets "Ricco" apart from so many other films of its ilk is just how violent it is. Director Tulio Demicheli refuses to hold back or play nice as the violence just keeps coming down. This establishes a very bleak and nihilist tone that fit this revenge movie like a glove. "Ricco" even features acid baths! In addition the characters are well drawn out. Ricco and Rosa remain likable even as they lay more and more sadistic punishments out on the syndicate. The script is pretty well laid out as well and he acting is pretty solid. In addition his movie also features plenty of tasty nudity courtesy of both Melisa Longo AND Barbara Bouchet. How can you beat that?
